Meeting Announcement - TITLE CASE legal advice for all Gitxsan and Wet'suwet'en - Jan. 19

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT MEETING for all Gitxsan and Wet'suwet'en people. The Tsilhqot'in title case decision in June set a legal precedent that has never before been seen in this country - it is the strongest decision ever released in favour of an indigenous group. Many people are now looking to the Gitxsan and Wet'suwet'en to see what we will do next, as we are the best posed nations in BC to launch title cases of our own, given that most of the legal legwork was completed during the Delgamuuk'w trial. Now is our time. Title would mean Canada and BC would recognize that we, the original people, have FULL control of our land, water, and resources.
